Keydrobe: Cute Keyboard Themes · Bundle ID: com.luantran.KeyboardTheme · Last updated: October 13, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Mun Studio ("we," "us," or "our"), the developer of Keydrobe: Cute Keyboard Themes (the "App"), handles information when you use the App on iPhone or iPad. The App has two parts: the Keydrobe app, where you browse and pick themes, and the Keydrobe keyboard, the custom keyboard you add in iOS Settings.
Your typing in short: the Keydrobe keyboard does not record, store, or transmit anything you type. It contains no network code, no analytics, and no advertising. Allowing Full Access only lets the keyboard read the theme files the Keydrobe app saved on your device, so it can show the theme you picked.
1. The keyboard and Full Access
iOS keeps a custom keyboard separate from its app. A keyboard cannot read files its app has saved unless you turn on Allow Full Access in Settings › General › Keyboard › Keyboards › Keydrobe. Apple shows a general warning when you turn it on, because Full Access would also allow a keyboard to use the network. The Keydrobe keyboard does not use that ability. With Full Access it:
- reads the active theme, your chosen key font and your keyboard languages from storage shared with the Keydrobe app on your device;
- writes one local note that Full Access is on, so the app's setup guide can tick off that step.
The keyboard does not keep a typing history, a learned dictionary, or a clipboard log, and does not send keystrokes or text to us or anyone else. Without Full Access the keyboard still types, wearing the free starter theme. In secure fields such as passwords, iOS replaces every custom keyboard, including Keydrobe, with the system keyboard.
2. Information the app processes
The App has no sign-up and asks for no name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos, or location.
| Information | Why | Where it goes |
|---|---|---|
| An anonymous app user ID created by Firebase Authentication | Lets the App read the theme catalog and download theme files. Not linked to your name or any account. | Google Firebase |
| Theme requests (which catalog pages and theme files are fetched, and when) | Show the gallery, search results and download themes | Google Firebase (Firestore, Cloud Storage) |
| A +1 on a theme's public download count, sent the first time this device installs that theme | The download numbers and the Popular order. The count is not linked to you. | Google Firebase (Firestore) |
| Requests for gallery thumbnails | Show theme previews | Cloudflare R2 (receives your IP address as part of serving the image) |
| Advertising data: device and app information, IP address, ad interactions, and the Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA) only if you allow tracking | Show, limit and measure ads, and prevent ad fraud | Google AdMob |
| Purchase status | Unlock Premium | Apple. We receive no payment details; purchases are verified on your device. |
| Emails you send us | Answer your feedback or support request | Our email provider |
3. Information kept only on your device
These never leave your iPhone or iPad:
- the themes you downloaded and the active theme;
- your settings: appearance, key font and keyboard languages;
- your Loved themes;
- which themes you unlocked by watching a video, and whether Premium is active;
- small counters that decide when to show a tip, a rating request or another pop-up, and which themes this device has already counted as downloaded.
Deleting the App removes all of it. Settings › Remove downloads removes downloaded themes at any time.
4. Advertising and your choices
Free users see ads from Google AdMob: an ad when the app opens, ad cards in the gallery, and short videos you choose to watch to unlock a theme. Premium removes ads. Ads appear only in the Keydrobe app, never in the keyboard.
- Tracking (ATT): iOS asks whether the App may track you. If you decline, the IDFA is not shared and ads are not personalized using it. You can change this in Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking.
- Consent in the EEA, UK and Switzerland: before any ad is requested, Google's consent form asks for your choices where the law requires it. You can reopen it from Settings › Privacy choices in the App.
- Google's use of advertising data is described at How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.
5. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information and do not share it for purposes other than those above. Information is processed by these service providers under their own terms: Google (Firebase and AdMob), Cloudflare (thumbnail hosting), and Apple (the App Store and in-app purchases). We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect the App, our users or our rights.
6. Retention
The anonymous Firebase user ID stays until you delete the App, after which it is no longer used. Theme download counts are kept as totals. Service providers keep request logs for the periods set out in their own policies. We keep support emails as long as needed to help you, then delete them.
7. Your rights
Because the App has no account, we hold almost nothing that identifies you. Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal information, or to object to its processing. To make a request, email us at the address below. To reset advertising choices, use the options in section 4.
8. Children
The App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
9. Security and international processing
Connections between the App and its services are encrypted. Our service providers may process information in countries other than yours, using the safeguards applicable law requires. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure.
10. Changes
We may update this policy as the App changes. We will post the new version here and update the date above.
